In addition to the standard Phantom X2, Tecno also announced the X2 Pro. This model brings a retractable rear camera, and gets a more premium plastic/leather built. Like it affordable counterpart, the X2 Pro is fitted with a 6.8-inches AMOLED screen featuring 1080 x 2400 pixels, and up to 120Hz refresh rate.
It is worth mentioning that both the Phantom X2 and the X2 Pro has better built quality than their older sibling, the Phantom X. Both phones comes with a Corning Gorilla Victus on the front and both are held together by a metal frame. Although the rear is plastic on both side, but with a premium leather touch on the higher X2 Pro.
What actually set the X2 Pro apart is it camera prowess. The main camera on here is a 50-megapixel lens with f/1.9 aperture. Then, there is a second 50-megapixel retractable telephoto lens that can shoot up to 2.5x optical zoomed photos. This very lens is also a 65mm equivalent, helping the Phantom X2 Pro to capture more natural looking portrait.
Finally, there is a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens on the rear, while the same 32MP selfie sensor is used on the front. Another notable upgrade on this model, different from the standard version is the presence of a 12GB RAM, paired with the same 256GB ROM.

Like the standard model, the Phantom X2 Pro is available in two colors: Stardust Gray and Mars Orange. The 12GB RAM with 256GB ROM will go on sales in Saudi Arabia this December, and the asking price is SAR 3,499, an equivalent of $930.
