Tecno has officially announced the Phantom X2 smartphone, a Dimensity 9000 powered device, offering up to 8GB RAM. It comes in a large 6.8-inches screen, featuring 1080 x 2400 pixels, a dotted notch and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Unlike the initial Phantom X1 that has a pill notch, the new X2-series come with a dotted notch on the head. With the 71-degress covered edges and the minimalized bezels, the display on the Phantom X2 series easily scaled above 90% screen to body ratio.
This is also the first time Tecno is using a true flagship CPU on it smartphone. One major let down of the older Phantom X, was the use of a 4G Helio G96 CPU. The X2 addresses this mistake by hooping on the Dimensity 9000 SOC from MediaTek, making the X2 a full fledged 5G smartphone out of the box,
The rear of the Phantom X2 also features an improved camera module that gives the phone a more attractive looks than it predecessor. Although the inherent camera sensor are more interesting on the Phantom X2 Pro model, than the standard X2.
Camera specifications here includes 64MP main, with PDAF and OIS, a 13MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone has a 5160mAh battery with 45W fast charger, while offering Google Android 12 with HiOS v12 out of the box.

Pricing and availability of Tecno Phantom X2
The Phantom X2 is available in Stardust Gray and Moonlight Silver colors. It will start selling in Saudi Arabia from this December, and the asking price is SAR 2,699 ($718) for the 8GB RAM with 256GB ROM. The model also has a 4GB RAM, paired with either 64, or 128GB ROM. These two should be slightly cheaper.
