Popular Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station recently shared that a certain brand’s flagship device powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset is tentatively set to launch in April.
Although the post does not explicitly mention the model name, the hints have led many observers to believe that the device could be the Xiaomi Redmi K90 Ultra. Based on the tipster’s previous track record and comment discussions, the connection seems plausible.
Redmi K90 Ultra specifications
In terms of expected specifications, the Redmi K90 Ultra is rumored to offer top tier hardware. It may feature a large 6.8 inch display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, targeting users who prioritize smooth visuals.
The device is also said to pack a substantial 8500mAh battery, paired with 100W fast charging support. Additional rumored features include a metal frame, an ultrasonic in display fingerprint scanner, and strong water resistance.
There is also talk of a global variant. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is believed to be an adapted version of the K90 Ultra for international markets. Carrying the model number 2602EPTC0G, it could launch without certain elements such as an internal cooling fan.
