Samsung has just launched its latest mid-range smartphone in the F-series, the Galaxy F14 5G, in India. The new device is a successor to the Galaxy F13 offering improved specifications that includes 6.6-inch FHD+ 90Hz screen, Exynos 1330 SoC, and up to 6GB of RAM with 6GB of additional virtual RAM with RAM Plus.
The device has a sleek design and is available in three colors: B.A.E. Purple, GOAT Green, and OMG Black. The 6.5-inches screen features an Infinity-V LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate, covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Powering the Galaxy F14 5G is the Exynos 1330 SoC, featuring a 5nm processor with Dual 2.4GHz Cortex-A78 + Hexa 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs. It has up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
The phone runs on the latest Android 13 with OneUI 5.0, and Samsung has promised 2 OS updates and 4 years of security updates for the phone.
The Galaxy F14 5G has a triple rear camera setup, with a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, accompanied by an LED flash. On the front, the device has a 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.
The device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication, and it also has a 3.5mm audio jack, making it easy to connect your headphones. The dimensions of the phone are 166.8 x 77.2 x 9.4mm, and it weighs 205g.
The Galaxy F14 5G is a 5G-enabled device and supports both SA and NSA bands. It also has dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C connectivity options.
The device packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. The Samsung Galaxy F14 5G comes in two versions: 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB, and is priced at Rs. 14,490 (or, $176) and Rs. 15,990 (or, $194), respectively.
