Samsung has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Galaxy F36 5G smartphone in India, scheduled for July 19. The phone will feature a stylish vegan leather finish and a slim 7.7mm profile. It will be equipped with a 50MP primary rear camera that includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro camera. Both the front and rear cameras will support 10-bit HDR video recording.
The device was recently spotted on the Google Play Console, revealing that it will be powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and will ship with Android 15. Samsung is expected to provide up to six generations of operating system updates and six years of security patches, consistent with its recent promise of extended software support.
The Galaxy F36 5G is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD Plus Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus for enhanced durability. A 5000mAh battery will power the device, supporting 25W fast charging.
The phone’s predecessor, the Galaxy F34 5G, debuted in August 2023 with a starting price of ₹18,999. The new Galaxy F36 5G is likely to maintain a launch price below ₹20,000.
