Details of the July 2025 security patch

The July 2025 security update includes multiple fixes from both Google and Samsung to boost overall protection for supported Galaxy devices. Based on Samsung’s security maintenance documentation, this patch resolves 21 high-level Android OS vulnerabilities and one marked as critical.

Beyond Google’s fixes, Samsung has added its own updates, including a high-severity patch for specific Exynos chipsets and 17 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs). These SVEs are tailored to Samsung’s own phones, tablets, and wearables.

Security updates like this one don’t usually introduce new features or visual updates, and the same holds true for July 2025. Instead, they provide essential fixes to enhance device safety and guard against potential threats.
