On July 25, Xiaomi shared its weekly update through the official Xiaomi Community in China, giving users a detailed look at the recent progress made on HyperOS software issues. The report highlights which bugs have been resolved and which ones are still being looked into, focusing mostly on the Gallery app and system interface behavior.
Resolved Issues
Xiaomi has managed to fix two major problems:
The smart beautification features in the Gallery app, which were acting up in specific situations, are now working properly.
Some users were unable to edit photos at all. That problem has also been resolved in the latest software update.

Issues Still Under Investigation
There are still ten known bugs that Xiaomi is actively working on:
The status bar and gesture indicators sometimes appear with a delay when users return to the home screen from an app.
The image cropping tool in the Gallery app is unresponsive in certain cases.
Thumbnails in the recent tasks screen don’t always reflect the actual state of the apps.
The floating ball feature occasionally disappears while being used.
Some third-party themes don’t work well with the control center.
Screen display issues may occur when switching between different screen resolutions.
Focus notifications are missing in the beta version of the Travel Assistant.
Swipe-up gestures to return to the previous screen don’t work in some instances.
Xiaomi is encouraging users to keep their devices updated and to follow the Xiaomi Community at xiaomi.cn for the latest information on bug fixes and improvements.
In a separate update, Xiaomi has confirmed that several models have reached end-of-life status ahead of the HyperOS 3 release. This includes the Xiaomi 11T series, Redmi 11 Prime 4G, Redmi A1 series, POCO M5, and POCO C50. These devices will no longer get software updates but will continue to receive security patches through September 2025.
