Vivo is set to expand its T4 lineup in India with the upcoming launch of the Vivo T4R 5G later this month. The brand has officially confirmed the release date and shared images of the phone’s design. At first glance, it resembles the Vivo T4 Ultra, which made its debut in India in June. Some of the key specifications such as the processor, camera, and design have already been revealed, and more details are expected in the coming days.
Vivo T4R 5G India Launch: All We Know
Vivo has announced that the T4R 5G will launch in India on July 31 at 12pm IST. It will be available for purchase via Vivo’s official India website, Flipkart, and select retail outlets across the country.
A MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset will be included with the smartphone. It will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor on the back of the camera. The company has confirmed that 4K video recording will be supported by both the front and rear cameras.
From the promotional images, the Vivo T4R 5G’s design appears to mirror that of the Vivo T4 Ultra. A vertical, pill-shaped camera island is placed on the upper left corner of the back panel. Within this module, two camera lenses are set inside a circular cutout near the top, while a circular Aura Light sits toward the bottom.
The display is a quad-curved panel with thin and even bezels, and a centrally placed hole-punch cutout at the top. On the right side of the device, you’ll find the volume buttons and the power key. The phone will come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. It has a slim profile, measuring just 7.3mm in thickness, and is being promoted as the slimmest quad-curved display smartphone currently in the Indian market.
